Terms of Use
_These terms govern the use of the EVVO platform — Event Marketplace Ukraine. Please read them carefully before signing up._
> Language. This is an English rendering of a document written in Ukrainian. In any question of interpretation the Ukrainian text is the one that governs: evvo.ua/uk/terms.
> In short: EVVO is a marketplace that connects clients with suppliers of event services. A client sends a request free of charge; a supplier pays a lead fee to open the contact details and the chat. The client pays for the service itself directly to the supplier. We provide the platform, but we are not a party to the service agreement. By signing up you accept these terms.
1. General provisions
EVVO (Event Marketplace Ukraine) is an online platform that lets individuals and companies find suppliers of event services and book those services.
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Event Marketplace Ukraine LLC ("EVVO", "we", "us").
By using the platform you confirm that you are 18 or over, that you have the capacity to enter into contracts, and that you accept these Terms.
2. Definitions
3. Registration and your account
3.1. Creating an account
The full functionality of the platform requires registration. When you register you undertake to give accurate, current and complete information.
3.2. Account security
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details (your password) confidential. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us at once at evvo.com.ua@gmail.com.
3.3. One account per person
Each person may hold only one client account and one supplier account. Creating accounts to evade a block is prohibited.
3.4. Verifying suppliers
EVVO reserves the right to ask for documents verifying a supplier's identity and business. Unverified suppliers may have limited access to the platform's features.
4. Rules for clients
As a client, you undertake to:
5. Rules for suppliers
As a supplier, you undertake to:
5.1. Prohibited content
Suppliers may not publish false information, other people's photographs or fabricated reviews, nor offer services that break Ukrainian law.
6. Requests, bookings and payment
6.1. How a request works
Booking on EVVO follows a pay-per-lead model and runs like this: the client chooses a supplier and sends them a request (a lead) with the details of the event, free of charge → the supplier sees an anonymised enquiry → the supplier pays the lead fee to open the client's contact details and the chat → the two sides agree the details and the price directly.
The client pays the platform nothing to send a request or to book. The supplier's contact details become available to the client once the supplier opens the request.
6.2. The lead fee (for suppliers)
To open a request, a supplier pays a one-off lead fee. It is calculated automatically from the estimated value of the booking and is bounded by a minimum and a maximum. The exact amount is always shown to the supplier before payment — there are no hidden charges.
6.3. Paying for the service
The client pays for the service itself directly to the supplier (in cash, by bank transfer or in any other agreed way) on the terms the two sides settled in the chat. EVVO takes no commission on the price of the service, does not hold that money and is not a party to the settlement between client and supplier.
6.4. Payment system
Wallet top-ups and payments for supplier promotion are processed through the acquiring service MonoPay (monobank). EVVO does not store bank card details — every transaction takes place on the side of a certified payment provider under the PCI DSS standard.
7. The lead fee and promotion
The platform's income comes from two sources, and only suppliers pay them:
Clients pay the platform no commission at all. The price a client agrees with a supplier is the final cost of the service, and all of it goes to the supplier.
8. Cancellation and refunds
8.1. Cancellation by a client
A client may cancel their request at any time, free of charge, because a client pays the platform nothing. Anything to do with the cost of the service itself, and with cancelling it, is agreed directly with the supplier.
8.2. Refunding a lead fee to a supplier
If a supplier opened a request (paid the lead fee) but the client does not respond or becomes unreachable within the stated period, the supplier may apply for the lead fee to be refunded. A refund is always made to the supplier's EVVO wallet and can be spent on opening further requests. Refunds are not made to a bank card — the money stays on the wallet balance.
8.3. Cancellation by a supplier
A supplier may decline a request before opening it, with no consequences and no charge. Systematically declining requests, or failing to honour arrangements already agreed, may lead to a lower rating, a penalty or a temporary block under EVVO's internal rules.
8.4. Force majeure
In the event of force majeure (martial law, a natural disaster, officially declared quarantine measures) the question of refunding a lead fee is settled case by case by EVVO support.
8.5. Publishing digital pages (invitations and landing pages)
Creating, editing and previewing a digital page are free. A single payment is charged to publish a page, at the rate in force at the moment of payment. The rate is shown in the interface before you confirm the payment.
What the publication fee covers:
Extending the period. If the owner wants to accept replies again after the period ends, they may extend the page for another 12 months at the renewal rate (a part of the original publication price, shown in the interface). An extension keeps the page's address, its content and every reply collected so far.
8.6. Refunds for publication
The service is considered fully delivered at the moment the page is published — that is when EVVO provides the agreed result: a page available at a link. Under article 10 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Consumer Rights", a service of proper quality that has been consumed is not refundable, and under part two of article 9 of the Law of Ukraine "On Electronic Commerce" the consumer consents to the service beginning before the withdrawal period ends.
No refund is therefore made for publication, including (but not limited to) where:
The only ground for a refund is that EVVO was technically unable to provide the service paid for, namely:
A refund request is sent to evvo.com.ua@gmail.com, quoting the page address and the date of payment, within 14 days of the ground arising. EVVO considers the request within 5 working days. If it is granted, the money is returned by the same payment method it was paid with, within the time limits set by the payment system (usually up to 10 banking days).
A page being unavailable through circumstances outside EVVO's control (failures at the payment system or the telecom operator, actions of an access provider, force majeure under clause 8.4) is not a ground for a refund.
8a. Digital pages: the owner's obligations
The owner of a published page decides its content themselves and is solely responsible for it. By publishing a page, the owner confirms that they:
EVVO may block a page that breaches these requirements, Ukrainian law or the rights of third parties without a refund — on its own initiative or on a substantiated complaint. The owner is told about a block by email.
8b. Data about visitors to a page
When a guest fills in the form on an owner's page (confirming attendance, applying for an event), their data — their name, their contact details and their answers to the form's questions — is collected on behalf of, and in the interests of, the page's owner.
9. Content and reviews
By publishing any content (photographs, descriptions, reviews) on the platform you grant EVVO a non-exclusive licence to use it for marketing and operational purposes.
A review of a supplier can only be left once they have opened your request — that is, once real contact has taken place between the two sides. Fake, abusive or promotional reviews will be removed. Systematic breaches may lead to an account being blocked.
10. Liability
EVVO is an information intermediary and is not a party to the agreement between a client and a supplier. We are not liable for:
EVVO's maximum liability to any user is limited to the amount that user has actually paid the platform over the previous 12 months (lead fees, wallet top-ups, promotion, and publishing or renewing digital pages).
11. Resolving disputes
If a dispute arises between a client and a supplier, the two sides must first try to resolve it themselves through the platform's messaging.
If the dispute is not resolved within 7 days, either side may approach EVVO support for mediation. EVVO's decision in mediation is advisory.
Disputes about agreements between clients and suppliers are resolved under Ukrainian law, in the courts at the place of registration of Event Marketplace Ukraine LLC.
12. Changes to these terms
EVVO reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. We tell users about material changes by email or by a notification on the platform, at least 14 days before they take effect.
Continuing to use the platform after the changes take effect counts as accepting them. If you do not accept the new terms, you may delete your account.
